It's the 1946 World Series, the Red Sox vs. the Cardinals in St. Louis. And the Redbirds' defense is in an overshift trying to thwart Ted Williams, the Bosox' Splendid Splinter. The view from your seat in the upper deck, just to the first base side of home plate, is expansive. The large scoreboard in left, several brick buildings (including the YMCA) beyond the bleachers in center and the covered pavilion in right are clearly visible -- not to mention all the billboards!
